I have a set of Weber IDF 48's on my 65 Mustang. Everything I read says they are best tuned by listening to the motor. I do not hear very well because of my time in the Military. Can anyone offer some advice?

Funny...they should write "Listen to the motor with the ear of an mechanic that know´s what he has to lsiten to..."

Just listen means nothing.:You need an Professional like Andrea at IOZ Racing iN Mülheim Kärlich..She know´s how to listen...but take some euros with you..and time

I've been working on my weber set up for over 1 year. not an easy stroll in the park if you ask me.
I have come to a point where I might even move back to a 4v induction system. But hey, if you want to go down that route, be prepared for a few set backs.
First thing you should check before even installing, is check the fuel bowl levels. if there're not right you're dead in the water.

good luck

My carbs and manifold were put together by Jim Inglese and pre-set so I don't think I've got fuel bowl problems.
